Disclaimer: I don't own anything in this fic, just the things I made up. Princess Kasumi by Willow Chapter Three ~ Stranger of Curiousity Kasumi, what a beautiful name for such a gorgeous girl, Satoshi thought. He almost stopped breathing again, but controlled himself. What was it about this girl that made him so helpless? Satoshi looked away and concentrated on Ashitaka. "I suppose there is nothing here for me." Ashitaka pressed his lips together. "I am not quite sure, but for now let us get some rest. We shall go back to Iron Town and perhaps come back tomorrow." He turned to look at San for her approval. Satoshi assumed that she was more or less the leader of the two. "It is not really necessary," San replied. "Although, it is really up to Satoshi. But be careful of the Ape Tribe. They have formed hatred towards you, Satoshi. That is not a good impression to the others." "There are others?" Satoshi asked. "Of course, you dense human," Sutaru Jinchianu growled. "Don't be stupid." "Stupid?" Satoshi raised his voice. "How dare you c..." "Calm yourself, Satoshi," Kasumi interrupted. "Sutaru meant no harm. She can get a little tempermental to strangers but..." "Kasumi..." Sutaru warned. "I'm sorry." Kasumi bowed her head. "But I did not mean tempermental in a bad way." Sutaru Jinchianu started waving her bushy tail from side to side. "Let us now depart. If we shall meet again, human, and you disrespect the wolf gods, I shall bite your head off." With that, she leaped away with Kasumi on her back. Kasumi did not say good-bye to Satoshi. "I'm afraid I'll have to go with her," San sighed. "Sutaru is impatient. Come on, Sutorumi Shiruberu." And she too left. "Are they always like this?" Satoshi asked. Ashitaka laughed. "Not always," he replied. "But when it comes to strangers, they can get a little rude. Please forgive them. They are really nice girls." Satoshi sighed as Kasumi's image flashed in his head. "Yes, I believe you." *************** "Pika..Pi pi." Satoshi rolled over in his bed and began snoring again. "Pika!" "Alright. One second." Pikachu kicked Satoshi on his side with its pudgy feet. "Pika..pi pi chu!" "WHAT?" Satoshi sat upright in his bed and yawned. "Wait a minute...you're just playing with my mind, aren't you?" Pikachu started laughing as it clapped its hands. "That wasn't funny," Satoshi growled. "Oh well, I might as well get dressed and find Ashitaka for some breakfast or something." Satoshi was shirtless and wearing striped pants when he got out of bed. He scratched the back of his head while he looked for a black shirt and jeans. When he found what he was looking for, he quickly changed and went outside. Pikachu was walking beside him. "Well look who's up! It's sleepyhead!" Satoshi cocked his head and saw Toki and some of her friends. They were all staring at Satoshi's handsomeness. "Good morning, ladies," Satoshi said. The women laughed again. "Times like these I wish I wasn't married!" joked one dressed in blue. This made them laugh again. Satoshi's golden face turned red. "Does any one of you know where Ashitaka is?" "Awww, he's not interested in us," Toki complained. "Ashitaka went to Lady Eboshi's house an hour ago." "Thank you," Satoshi replied. Then, he quickly started running to the place Ashitaka showed him yesterday. He was soon stopped by a different guard. "Halt!" he said. "Nobody is permitted in here except for Ashitaka and Lady Eboshi's guards. Not even Toki and the ladies. Leave at once." "You don't understand," Satoshi replied. "I need to see Ashitaka." "Ashitaka is busy right now. You'll have to wait. Now go," the guard commanded. Pikachu leaped onto Ash's head and glared at the guard. "Pika!" "Woah, is that a Pikachu?" the guard asked, interested. "Yes," Satoshi said. "Now can I come in?" The guard laughed. "Just because you have a Pikachu? I don't think so. You can't come in this easily." Satoshi grinded his teeth. How come the other guard let him in but not this one? How could he get in? Maybe if he called... "Don't even think about calling for him," the guard snapped when Satoshi opened his mouth. "Don't force me to hurt you." "That's it! Pikachu, thunder bolt!" "Pikachu! Pika.....PIKACHU!" Soon, the guard was lying motionless on the ground. "Impressive," came a voice. "I always wanted to see a Pikachu in action." Satoshi looked up, breathing heavily with rage. He saw an amused Lady Eboshi with Ashitaka by her side. "I'm sorry if that guard didn't let you in," Lady Eboshi continued. "It's just that we are in an important meeting right now. Why don't you come and join us?" Satoshi glanced at Ashitaka and got his approval. He followed Lady Eboshi into her house. Sitting around a table wasn't the bandaged people, but instead the highly respected citizens of Iron Town. Lady Eboshi took her place at the head of the table and Ashitaka sat beside her. "A stranger came to me this morning," Lady Eboshi started. "A girl about 17 or so. She says she has come here in search of hospitality." Satoshi's heart leapt. Was it Misty? Could it be? "As all of you know, we try not to accept strangers into Iron Town in fear of the destruction of the forest," Lady Eboshi continued. "So we are here to judge the girl. If she can be trusted. Ashitaka, please bring her in." Ashitaka got up from his chair and left the room. All was silent. Then, he came back, holding the arm of a cloaked girl. If they didn't know it was a girl, they wouldn't have guessed. All that was exposed was two large, innocent eyes and a lock of dark blonde hair. Satoshi's heart leapt. Perhaps this was Misty! Maybe her hair had been bleached by the strong sun. "What is your name?" he immediately asked. The girl turned to stare at Satoshi. She let the cloak fall to the ground and all was astounded by her beauty. Unlike San and Kasumi, she had the attractiveness that you could see immdiately where San and Kasumi had the beauty where you had to look twice to absorb the gorgeousness. "That was pretty direct," she said. Her voice..instead of being deep and mysterious like the two wild girls, her voice was smooth and silky like a Caterpie's string. Satoshi's heart was hers from that moment. He felt dizzy from her beauty. "My name is Misuchi," she replied with a smile. Satoshi gripped the underside of the table until his knuckles turned white. Here, was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen...and it wasn't Misty. *************** "So, what do you think of Misuchi, Ashitaka?" Ashitaka laughed. "She is indeed beautiful, Satoshi. But her beauty is only skin deep. She can't compare to the beauty of the wild. The free. Nature." "San, right? Or...Kasumi?" Ashitaka looked at Satoshi. "It's a long story," he sighed. "Perhaps I'll tell you another time." Satoshi nodded. Then he said, "You're probably wondering why I told Kasumi and San my name was Satoshi but not Ash Ketchum, right?" Ashitaka smiled. "If you don't want to tell me, that's okay." Satoshi laughed. "It's a long story. Perhaps I'll tell you another time." The two boys shared a hearty laugh as they trudged up the big mountain. Then, they heard that songy voice. "Ashitaka! Satoshi! Wait up!" They spun around and saw Misuchi running up after them. She was wearing her purple cloak which covered up most of her beauty. Only her two large eyes and a lock of yellow hair was visible. Ashitaka looked at her in alarm. "What do you think you are doing?" he shouted. "Go away! You should know you aren't allowed on this mountain!" Misuchi let the cloak fall onto her shoulders and her attractive face was magnificent against the afternoon sky. "I know that Ashitaka. I was hoping that you would let me come with you. I want to know everything about this wonderful place." Ashitaka drew his brows together. "Misuchi, they voted against you staying here." "Oh Ashitaka," Misuchi laughed. She grabbed his hand and pressed it between her two soft ones. "That won't stop me. This place is perfect for me! I'm determined to stay here." Ashitaka sntached his hand away. Satoshi could see the anger in his eyes. "You may be beautiful," he said roughly. "But beauty means nothing to me. Be gone or I'll be forced to hurt you." With that, he drew up his sword and pushed the tip of the blade under her long neck. "You won't hurt me, Ashitaka," Musuchi laughed matter-of-factly. "Put the sword down." Ashitaka's hand didn't waver. Then, in a flash, he had put his sword back and had Misuchi pinned down onto the grass. Misuchi was a little dazed as she laid motionless on the ground. "Let me go!" she screamed. "If you promise to leave right now!" Ashitaka said. "I can't promise that, Ashitaka," Misuchi replied. Satoshi wondered what he should do to help. But his thinking was soon interrupted by two war calls. San and Kasumi were running towards them with their trusty wolves by their side. Misuchi looked at them in fear. Especially at the huge jaws of the wolves that were dripping with saliva. "You are forbidden on these mountains," San growled. "And unlike Ashitaka, I'm not afraid to hurt you." And just to prove that, she threw a stone like weapon toward Ashitaka, who fortunately had his quick reflexes and backflipped away. Misuchi flipped the hood of the cape back on her head. "I will not go away until I see these mountains." Kasumi kicked Misuchi's stomach and pressed her foot forcefully down as Misuchi coughed on the grass. "Not as long as we're here, bitch." "I really want to eat her," Sutaru Jinchianu said, licking his chops. "This time I agree with you, sister," Sutorumi Shiruberu agreed. "She seems most annoying." Misuchi glared at Kasumi. "Get your dirty foot off of me, you wench." Kasumi did so, but then started to strangle her. "Call me a wench, will you? Sutaru Jinchianu..." San stopped her. "Remember, sister, we give them a warning first. We may be protectors of the mountain, but we aren't heartless. Don't let your anger get to you. That's how demons are formed." Kasumi panted heavily as she pushed Misuchi away. "You better not return." "I cannot promise you that." And Misuchi floated down the mountain. "That little...that little..." Kasumi looked at Satoshi. "And what are you looking at?"
