From: Moe_Magoo The PokeWars Chapter 2:Thunderstrike Lt. Surge dis-connected from the Leagues main communications channel. He turned to his second in command. “We have the go, begin attack.”. His second, a young man named Gary nodded, he turned and yelled. “Begin Mega Destruct”. With flashes of light 10 Voltorb and 10 Hitmonlee were called out of their pokéballs. Each Hitmonlee took a running start at their targets, Voltorb, with a mighty kick each of the ball pokémon went flying towards the front wall of the Cerulean Gym. Each one landed right after another in sequence. The wall crumbled like paper. With that, the Battle For Cerulean began. Hours later it ended, the Gym was losing until retreating trainers from the Pewter Gym came charging from the town’s entrance and turned the tables. Surge’s defeated forces retreated back to Vermillion, where they could re-cooperate at the Gym. Bodies of Raichu, Jolteons and Electabuzzs littered the ground with Starmies, Wartortles, Vaporeons and Blastoises. Surge looked at his trainers, all crest-fallen by their defeat. He called Lance and asked for replacements. In the background he saw a Pikachu being grown in a vat. It was a clone. Like all the other Pikachu he had fought with. There were no wild pokémon left. Pokemon Masters volunteered their own pokémon for the fight. All except 7 who were being ‘persuaded’ very violently. The last one that refused had his town destroyed. But he still didn’t give up his pokémon. Lance reported Matts’, Tamaras’ and Brunos’ victory over Pewter and Surge told him about the rock trainers arrival and assistance in the Cerulean Battle. Lance cursed and signed off. Surge set his pokémon with the others in the healing unit and went to his quarters to rest. Brock stood before his troops. Many were bruised and cut from the previous battles. At his side, Misty, leader of the now destroyed Cerulean Gym handed him an assessment. He looked it over. “You have all done well in the last battles. I too am sorry for the loss of both Gyms. They produced many of our groups most powerful fighters. However, Anthony has offered to begin training our water pokémon and A.J. has offered to open his gym to our Rock and Ground-types to strengthen them. Two men at the back nodded at the mention of their names. Also, we have taken Cinnabar back from the league”. The crowd cheered. “And we have learned of a legend. There is said to be an Alakazam leading a group of Clefairy in Mt. Moon, we are going to send six trainers, including myself and Misty to investigate. The legend said that this group of pokémon can grant a single wish with the collection of each elemental stone spheres. These spheres actually mutate a normal stone into an Evolution Stone and are used by all pokémon types to draw on for strength. We have searched for a year to find these. We all hope and pray these are what we need. Since we have them we will use a hovercraft taken from Sliph. Co. and start out in the morning under the cover of dawn”. Again the group cheered and began to talk of the plan to seek the Alakazam. The next morning Misty, Brock and four other trainers set out towards Mt. Moon and hopefully towards an end to the war. When they arrived three P.L. Elites stood at the foot of the cave P.L Elite stood for Pokémon League Elite, the most powerful trainers of the League. Brock motioned to his grass trainer. He nodded and tossed out a pokéball. A large Vileplume appeared. The trainer whispered to his pokémon and it nodded. Vileplume closed it’s eyes in concentration. “Villllllllplume!!!!!”. Vileplume unleashed a cloud of Spores. The cloud drifted towards the cave opening and the guards fell asleep, one realized what was happening and tossed a pokéball out. Brock lunged out to try and grab it and missed and it hit the ground. A large Charizard appeared and roared loudly. Misty tossed out two pokéballs at it. Charizard swatted them away and they landed sending out two Starmies. “Starmies, Twin Water Gun now!!”. Yelled Misty, the Starmies floated into the air and shot double pillars of water at the fire pokémon. Charizard roared as it was weakened and fell. Brock’s fire trainer tossed a pokéball at it and caught it. The captured pokémon didn’t even struggle. The ball flashed and was teleported on a pirated pokéball routing channel. Brock’s forces knew what to do. Each League pokémon they captured were sent to a special lab to have their implants de-activated forever. Brocks’ other trainers grabbed all the guards pokéballs and teleported them back. Once they entered the cave Brock called out his Golem. “Golem, block the cave opening”. Golem rolled into a ball and rolled to the entrance and logged itself inside. Brock, Misty and the others turned on their flashlights and proceeded further into the cave. Meanwhile, Matt and Bruno were plotting an attack with Lance to re-take Cinnabar Island. “You may proceed when ready” said Lance as he picked up his phone. “Lance here, what is it??”. Lance listened for a moment. As he did so his face grew redder and redder. “What?!?!”. His voice was a shrill. “What about the guards?, Uh huh...what about their pokémon?. Gone to!”. He slammed the phone. We’re going to send Grass, Psychic and Thunder Squads, Bulbasaur, Kadabra and Raichu units. We need to capture a group of trainers that recently entered Mt. Moon”. Bruno took out a modified pokedex and tapped a few buttons. On a near-by trainer 6 pokéballs appeared. “Take these Geodude in case of an emergency”. Lance nodded and teleported them to the hangar bay. Where a second attack force was assembling to attack Mt. Moon. Lance spoke again. “Assemble your troops. You leave in an hour.”
