US Journey part 9 A

Hey all.  Just a thought before I start.  Since we now know the last names of 
the Misty and Brock (Williams and Harrison) does that mean we have to change 
the fanfic so they'll be correct.  And a slight warning.  This is a LONG 
chapter.  And if haven't guessed by now I would like feedback.

Note: I decided to rechange Misty‰*ªs wardrobe.  A good desperation would be 
she‰*ªs
dressed like in the comics if you‰*ªve seen them.  If anyone likes I can send 
part 8 with the
rechanged part.

US Journey part 9: Sand, surf, and a jaw full of trouble

We find are heroes on the roadside overlooking a beach.  Everyone was 
stretching their
legs for their long travels.  ‰*ÏWow what a great view.  The ocean looks so 
lovely form
here.‰**  Misty said looking at the ocean view.  ‰*ÏDoes anyone mind if I
take a 
quick swim.‰**
‰*ÏWell Misty we have to get to Seattle....‰** 
‰*ÏOkay thanks.‰**  Misty jumped into the van and closed the door.  Misty
opened 
the door a
few seconds later to reveal her in bathing suit.  Misty ran down to the shore 
and start
swimming.
‰*ÏIs she always like that?‰**  Isaac asked.
‰*ÏOnly when it has to do something with water.‰**  Ash replied.
‰*ÏI guess we can send the rest of the day here.  The next town is only a few 
miles and we
can spend the night there.‰**  James said looking form the map.
‰*ÏWell I could go for a nice tanning.‰**  Jessie said as she to grab
something 
form the van
and instantly created a typical beach set.
‰*ÏHow do they do that.‰**  Ash said.
‰*ÏI don‰*ªt know and think I never will.‰**  James said as he went into
the van 
to change.

‰*ÏCome on Ash won‰*ªt you join me in the water.‰**  Misty yelled over to
Ash who 
was on
the shore.
‰*ÏNah, I really don‰*ªt feel like it.  Unlike you some people are not part 
fish.‰**
‰*ÏWell ha ha very funny.‰**  Misty laid down on her blanket.
‰*ÏUm, say Isaac why didn‰*ªt change into a bathing suit.‰**  Jessie asked.
 Even 
though he
took off his jacket Isaac still was dress like he always is.
‰*ÏI don‰*ªt like the beach.  And I really don‰*ªt have any beach wear.‰**
‰*ÏOh, well you could borrow one of mine. I have a couple dozen.‰**  James
said. 
 Isaac
sweatdropped.
‰*ÏUm, I think I‰*ªll pass.‰**
‰*ÏSay what that in the water.‰**  Ash said pointing towards the water.
‰*ÏI don‰*ªt know, but I think it‰*ªs a pokemon.‰**  Isaac stared a bit
further out 
to sea.  ‰*ÏSay I
think it‰*ªs a Dollyfin.‰**
‰*ÏA What?‰**  Ash pointed his pokedex at the swimming figure.  The pokedex 
showed a
image of the figure swimming out in the ocean.   The creature was white and 
featured two
fins on its back.
‰*ÏDollyfin.  A dolphin pokemon.  This pokemon is very friendly and helpful
to 
people.  It
has been known to bring shipwrecked sailors back to shore.‰**
‰*ÏWow a water pokemon.  I going to catch it.‰**  Misty brought forth Starmie 
and jumped
on its back.
‰*ÏThat girl just loves water pokemon.  Doesn‰*ªt she.‰**  Ash looked towards 
Dollyfin and
then spotted something else.
‰*ÏWhat‰*ªs that?‰**  Ash pointed his pokedex at the other object.  The
pokedex 
displayed a
large fish creature with sharp looking teeth and a black gray body.
‰*ÏMakoron a shark pokemon.  This hostile pokemon is very aggressive and well 
harm
anything it sees as a threat.  It can break a Blastoise shell with it‰*ªs 
powerful teeth.‰**  The
pokedex said.
‰*ÏAnd Misty is heading straight for it.  We got to do something.‰**  Ash 
reached for his
pokeballs in his backpack.  ‰*ÏLapras I choose you.‰**  Ash threw the
pokeball 
and Lapras
appeared in the water.  Ash and Pikachu jumped on board Lapras back.  ‰*ÏYou 
guys wait
here.  Lapras follow Misty.‰**  Lapras quickly started swimming toward Misty 
who was
coming ever closer to the two pokemon.

Meanwhile Misty was focusing on capturing the Dollyfin.  She stopped when she 
about
ten feet away form the Dollyfin.  ‰*ÏOkay Dollyfin your mine.  Staryu go!‰**  
Misty opened
the pokeball and the star shaped pokemon appeared.  ‰*ÏStaryu water gun.‰**
‰*ÏHiya.‰**  Staryu sprayed water at Dollyfin but avoid the attack and dove 
under water.
‰*ÏStaryu dive under and tackle it.‰**  Staryu dove under the water to attack 
the Dollyfin. 
‰*ÏHuh?  What that sound?‰**  Misty turned around to see the Makorons coming 
straight
towards her.  ‰*ÏWhat that thing.  Starmie get us out of here.  Staryu forget 
the Dollyfin.‰** 
Starmie and Staryu started to swim away form the Makoron but the shark 
pokemon kept
getting closer.  ‰*ÏAh it‰*ªs going to get us.‰**  The Makoron was about to
lunge 
upon the three
when a beam of ice hit Makoron knocking him away.  Makoron dived off and ran 
away. 
Ash appeared next to Misty, Starmie, and Staryu.
‰*ÏMisty are you ok?‰**  Ash asked.
‰*ÏYeah I‰*ªm fine.  What was that?‰**
‰*ÏThat‰*ªs a Makoron.  It was chasing the Dollyfin.‰**
‰*ÏAnd I didn‰*ªt even get the Dollyfin.‰**  Misty sighed and called back
Staryu.
‰*ÏHey guys.  Wait up.‰**  Isaac came running up the two on a Starmie.
‰*ÏAnd where did you get a Starmie.‰**  Ash asked the young magician.
‰*ÏI‰*ªve had him for a while now.  Magicman isn‰*ªt the only pokemon I
own.  I 
nicknamed
him Starlight.‰**
‰*ÏWell well ask you later what pokemon you do own later.  What are doing out 
here.‰**
‰*ÏWell I came to warn you.‰**
‰*ÏWarn us about what?‰**
‰*ÏWell see for yourselves.‰**  Isaac pointed off toward the ocean.
Further off 
and
approaching fast appeared to be about a fleet of Makorons heading straight 
for them.
‰*ÏWe got to get out fast.  Lapras get us to shore.‰**
‰*ÏStarlight go!‰**
‰*ÏStarmie get us out of here.‰**  The three pokemon swam as fast as they
could 
to get away
form the Makoron fleet that the shark pokemon where quickly gaining up on 
them.  ‰*ÏWe
can‰*ªt out run them.  Shouldn‰*ªt we try and attack them.‰**
‰*ÏNo we don‰*ªt have enough pokemon to stop them.  And if I use Pikachu
we‰*ªll 
get
shocked.‰**
‰*ÏWell we can‰*ªt out run them forever.  We have to do something.‰**
Misty said. 
 As the
three were about to turn around for a attack a sudden sound appeared out of 
no wear.
‰*ÏWhat‰*ªs that sound.  It‰*ªs so awful.‰**
‰*ÏLook over there.‰**  Ash pointed towards a boat that was head towards
them.  
The boat
had large speakers that was producing in sound.
‰*ÏHey look the sound is making the Makorons turn around.‰**  What Isaac said 
was true. 
The sound that the boat was making was driving them off.  When all the 
Makorons were
gone the boat came toward them.  On the boat was a blond man in a life guard 
outfit.
‰*ÏHey there.  Come abroad.‰**  The three jump on the boat and recall there 
pokemon.
‰*ÏUm Thanks....‰**
‰*ÏThe names Rick.  And don‰*ªt mention it.  It‰*ªs my job.‰**
‰*ÏJust what was with those pokemon.  And what drove them off.‰**
‰*ÏWell I can the latter.  See those speakers?  Well they produce a high 
pitched sound that
drives off the Makorons.  But I‰*ªll explain why they are attacking back at
my 
HQ.‰**
